Each summer, for the past few years, Living Oaks Church has sent a team to Casa Shalom, an orphanage in Guatemala. Our team has helped with building projects, painting the orphanage houses and worked with the children. Last year, one of our team members, a dentist, provided dental check ups and other oral care to each child at the orphanage. A highlight for us was building the foundation for the Casa Shalom Chapel. We hope to make this mission trip an annual event for many years.
